The useful details / Privacy
Your privacy, explained plainly.
Here’s what this website does with information—and, just as importantly, what it doesn’t do.

1. Who’s responsible
Cheer Deck Wellness Guides Ltd. operates cheerdeckfeedburst.lat and is the controller of personal information we receive for our own purposes. Our company number is 16842731, and our registered address is 86–90 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE, United Kingdom.
For privacy questions, rights requests or correspondence for our privacy lead, email [email protected] with “Privacy” in the subject. This is our privacy contact; we do not represent that a statutory Data Protection Officer has been appointed.
2. Information collected
The contact form asks for your name, email address, subject, wellness topic, message and acknowledgment of this privacy notice. Validation happens in your browser. The form does not transmit a submission to us or save its fields in our local storage. A successful check prepares an optional email link; information reaches us only if you send an email through your email service.
If you email us, we receive your message, sender details and any attachments. Please don’t send medical records, payment details, passport copies or sensitive health histories. General travel questions rarely need them.
Our hosting infrastructure may process IP addresses, request times, requested pages, browser information, referring pages and error records to deliver and protect the site. Photographs load from Picsum Photos and its delivery infrastructure, which receive technical information such as your IP address when images are requested.
3. Purposes and lawful bases
We use correspondence to answer questions and manage our relationship with you. Depending on the request, the lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to relevant inquiries or taking steps you request before a possible agreement. Security and basic operational processing rely on legitimate interests, balanced against your rights. Legal recordkeeping relies on applicable legal obligations.
Where non-essential storage or optional analytics requires consent, we would obtain it before activation. No analytics, advertising pixels, behavioral profiling or automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects are currently implemented.
4. Cookies and service providers
We store your cookie decision in browser localStorage. This isn’t a tracking cookie, and it doesn’t contain your contact-form details. Read the Cookie Policy for the exact key, controls and optional-category examples.
Hosting and email providers may process information on our behalf under appropriate arrangements. Image providers and websites you choose to visit may act as independent controllers. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. Retention, security and transfers
We aim to delete routine inquiry emails within 12 months after the matter is resolved, unless an ongoing issue, legal obligation or claim requires longer retention. Technical-log retention depends on hosting security settings and operational needs; we limit access and seek the shortest practical period. Backup copies may remain temporarily until normal rotation removes them.
We use proportionate access controls and secure service configurations, but no transmission or storage system is completely secure. Avoid sending sensitive information by ordinary email. Your browser retains the cookie-choice record until you clear site data or replace it through our settings.
Our UK operation and service providers may involve international transfers. Where applicable, transfers requiring safeguards use adequacy decisions, approved contractual clauses or another lawful mechanism. Contact us to ask about safeguards relevant to information we hold about you.
6. Your privacy rights
Subject to applicable UK GDPR or EU GDPR conditions, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. We may need proportionate verification and normally respond within one month, with lawful extensions explained.
If the CCPA or CPRA applies to our processing of your information, California residents may have rights to know, access, correct and delete information, opt out of sale or sharing, and limit qualifying uses of sensitive personal information. We do not sell or share data as described above, and we do not discriminate for exercising applicable rights. An authorized agent may contact us with evidence of authority.
7. Children, complaints and updates
This site is intended for adults planning travel. We don’t knowingly solicit personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can assess and remove it where appropriate.
You can complain to us first, but you don’t have to. UK residents may contact the Information Commissioner’s Office; EEA residents may contact their local supervisory authority. We’ll update this page when our practices materially change and revise the effective date.
